The Shetland Museum Photo Archive contains over 60,000 images depicting Shetland life, heritage and culture dating back to the 1800s.
This set of nostalgic Christmas cards includes the following, also available to purchase individually:
- Law Lane, Lerwick, in snow (before 1970s).
- Crofthouse with a taekit (thatched) roof at Sands of Sound, Lerwick, in the snow (before 1970s).
- Men digging snow out of fourareens in their noost at Stivlar, Nortavoe, to make a trip to the shop at Mid Yell, 1947.
- Two children building a snowman with a pipe and walking stick, 1935.

The inside message reads Göd Yöl, meaning Good Yule in Shetland.
