Clear daybreak of the North Greetings Card - Helen E Acklam

Greetings card featuring mixed media artwork by Helen E Acklam. The inside is blank for your own message.

'Mootie's Hoos’ was an exhibition on display at Shetland Museum & Archives from August-October 2025, featuring mixed media artwork that explores the powerful connection between people, memory and place. The artwork is primarily based on talks with an elderly lady about her life on her croft cottage in North Roe, and conveys the story of her life and that of the many other women on the island who managed their crofts while their husbands were away fishing.
