2026 Shetland Wool Week In Person Membership

Your membership helps us sustain a vibrant programme that celebrates the wool, people, skills, and stories of Shetland — the community at the heart of Shetland Wool Week.

We’re offering three membership tiers for SWW 2026:

• In Person Membership – £38 
• Online Membership – £20   
• Supporter Membership – £6 

This year’s In Person package highlight items created by Shetland craftspeople, artists, and local suppliers, ensuring your support strengthens our islands and champions the talent across our community.

This membership is for those who are attending Shetland Wool Week in person only.  Upon purchasing this membership, the membership package will be available to pick up at the welcome desk at Shetland Museum and Archives during Shetland Wool Week.

By becoming a 2026 Shetland Wool Week Member you will receive:

• Exclusive Nina Price Postcard Collection
  A beautifully presented set of four exclusive postcards by local visual artist Nina Price, celebrating the colours, moods and landscapes of Shetland through the seasons.
  
  
• ‘‘Shetland Wool Week Wanderings: A Journal for stitches, stories, islands and friendships’
  Part keepsake, part travel journal, this beautiful notebook is designed to accompany you throughout Shetland Wool Week. Capture the places you’ve visited, the people you’ve met, the projects you’ve cast on and the memories you’ve made, with thoughtful prompts, space for sketches and notes, and plenty of room for your Wool Week story.
  
  
• Birsie Beanny Badge 
  Specially designed and made in Shetland by local jewellery designer, Joanne Jamieson (Jolly Polly Jewellery) 
  
  
• Early Access to the programme so you can plan your itineraries (at least one week before tickets for on sale on 21st July 2026)

  Two Tickets to a special event with SWW Patron, Helen Robertson, in Ollaberry on Wednesday 27th September

FAQ:

• Memberships are annual (not rolling subscriptions)
• Event tickets go on sale: Tuesday 21st July at 14:00 BST
• All physical items which are part of the membership are required to be picked up from Shetland Museum and Archives during Shetland Wool Week 2026 and will not be posted to your address.
• Membership is available to all countries including customers in the EU/EAA 
• You don’t need to be a member to attend SWW, but membership gives you a head start on planning your itinerary
• Our popular SWW Annual will be available for pre-order from early September (not included in membership)
• A small range of SWW merchandise will be available during the festival

Your generosity is important to us and provides us with the life blood to continue delivering a varied and inspiring event, as well as helping to preserve Shetland’s textile heritage and its rural crofting community for future generations to enjoy.
