The Shetland Museum Photo Archive contains over 60,000 images depicting Shetland life, heritage and culture dating back to the 1800s. This magnet features one such photo from 1955's Up Helly Aa procession, with guizers parading with flaming torches.

At the end of January, Shetlanders celeberate the world-famous festival of Up Helly Aa, during which a Viking longship (the galley), is marched through the streets of Lerwick before being set ablaze. The torchlit procession of around a thousand Guizers led by the Guizer Jarl is a spectacular sight.
