Traditional Shetland Knitting Belt - Red
Traditional to the Shetland Isles, knitting belts are used to anchor the needle when knitting with double-pointed needles.
These belts are made from natural vegetable-tanned leather, hand-dyed and stuffed with highest-quality horsehair mixed fibres. The 3.5mm holes hold a 4mm needle securely, and can be used with smaller needles.
Red body, navy blue lace edge, tan strap.
Handmade in Shetland by Lisa's Leatherworks on the beautiful island of Fetlar, the 'garden of Shetland'.
